With a color palette of blush pink, crème, navy and silver, it was almost too pretty for words and a perfect opportunity for us to photograph all the details that made this wedding so special: Erin in her gorgeous gown, the first look that the couple decided to do, the bridesmaids in navy giving a different tone and all the emotional moments full of joy and love.
Erin shares their love story: "I met Kirk in high school and we were good friends through college – never romantically involved. We lost touch completely for 4 years and when we ran into each other we instantly fell in love! I felt in love with him because he was the same guy I had always loved but even better – he had grown and matured into a wonderful man over the time we were out of touch. He says that he felt in love with my unmatched beauty and intelligence.
The wedding proposal happened while we were on vacation. We traveled to Savannah, Georgia and then to Asheville, North Carolina in the Fall of 2013. In Asheville we went to visit Biltmore Estate. Kirk arranged for photographers there to capture the moment. It was one of the most beautiful and breathtaking moments of my life. The scenery was so beautiful and I was so happy that I cried. The next day we announced our engagement to all of our friends through social media and also announced that we were 3.5 months pregnant!"
Doing the photography and cinematography coverage for their wedding was a unique experience for us and we are glad we were a part of it.
